Audit recount

As you can see in this video the election workers at Multnomah County were very precise in their instructions to the board members when handling the ballots, but what does that matter when you consider there is no traceable chain of custody once our ballots entered Multnomah County elections. The seals may or may not be resealable but they certainly are not filled out with the responsible party's signature to ensure the ballots contained within the precinct boxes are indeed the original ballots cast and counted by the optical scanning machines.

Unsafe ballot precinct boxes in Oregon 2010

Vote by Mail Fraud may finally be coming to light with the brave move by Republican Congressional candidate Delia Lopez who has for the first time in memory demanded a recount of her votes despite losing by an insurmountable margin. Delia's district encompasses almost all of downtown Portland's Multnomah county so hers is the perfect race to retrace back to the ballots to ensure that the ballots truly reflect the vote tally. Yet there appears to be no discernible chain of custody from our living room to the precinct box after being counted. The forms on the ballot boxes are not signed for and verified when sealed so that anyone could reopen the boxes replace the ballots and fix the recount.
